             Born in Puerto Rico, where he had the opportunity to develop versatility of styles because of the island and Latino music is played but the North American music is also very present.


             He began playing with various local groups as well as in tropical music, Rock, pop, ska and folk music. Then went on to study popular music in the Inter American university of P.R. where he had the opportunity to have as teachers  some of the best musicians in PR as Professor Hector Matos one of the country's most sought professional drummers.

    Luis was drummer and musical director duo Favela, studio drummer, arranger and record producer of the single Llename hoy de Siervos del Altisimo.


          Luis Angel currently resides in Washington DC where he began his business as a freelance music producer, mixing and online session drums where he had the opportunity to work for the artist Andres Mauricio Salguero as music producer, drummer and mixing engineer for album¡Uno,dos,tres Andres! children's music.


 His new CD, ¡Uno, Dos, Tres, Andrés! en Español y en Inglés is nominated to the 16th Latin Grammy award as best children's album.
